                MediClin AG is a Germany-based company engaged in operating hospitals. It is focused on providing services in the areas of the neurosciences and psychological sciences as well as orthopaedics in Germany. The hospitals are acute-care hospitals providing basic, standard, and specialized care, as well as specialist clinics for medical rehabilitation. The operating segments of the group are Post-acute, Acute and Other activities. It generates the majority of the revenue from the Post-acute segment in which the firm offers services in the fields of subsequent nursing treatment and curative treatment. Subsequent nursing treatment starts after acute care treatment and includes all medical measures required to facilitate the healing process and return the patient to a functioning state.
