EDP Renovaveis SA (EDPR.LS): Expectations have been reset: upgrade to 2024 | 3:10AM CET Despite the weak earnings momentum, we upgrade EDPR to Buy for three reasons: (i) we believe the new (and disappointing) guidance for this year has reset expectations, way beyond 2024; (ii) most of the 2024 earnings downgrades (triggered by the new guidance) reflect temporary factors that should normalize over the coming years; (iii) the stock already trades below our valuation of the existing assets (>€13/share) i.e. the shares are pricing in negative value for future growth.
