Great American Financial Corporation currently lacks substantial operational activities. The company plans to function as a holding entity, focusing on the investment and development of a broad network of operating subsidiaries involved in diverse business sectors. Historically, the company's primary focus was the gaming sector. This included involvement in traditional pari-mutuel betting on horse and dog races, casino and riverboat gaming, lotteries, charitable gaming ventures, and sports book operations. Services were delivered via digital platforms such as the Internet, Intranet, telecommunications networks, and broadband video. Furthermore, it derived revenue from product licensing and royalties, offered advertising opportunities through its portal websites, and delivered internet-based business-to-business development and design solutions. Initially established in 1986 under the name Interactive Gaming and Communications Corporation, Great American Financial is now headquartered in Norristown, Pennsylvania.
