Environmental Power Corporation
Environmental Power Corporation is dedicated to the establishment, ownership, and ongoing management of sustainable energy production facilities across the United States. The company's core activity involves developing green energy plants that produce and commercially apply methane-heavy biogas, which is sourced from various organic waste streams such as animal manure and food industry byproducts. This biogas can be directly supplied to end-users or refined into pipeline-quality methane—referred to as renewable natural gas, liquefied natural gas, or compressed natural gas. Furthermore, it can be utilized to generate clean electricity or heat, alongside other valuable co-products. The firm currently operates three standalone digester sites situated in Wisconsin. Environmental Power Corporation was founded in 1982 and its corporate headquarters are located in Tarrytown, New York.
