Its primary activities encompass managing and supplying satellite transponder capacity, related support, and a comprehensive suite of satellite broadcasting and telecommunications solutions. The company leases C-band and Ku-band transponders to its broadcasting and telecommunications customers, in addition to providing satellite television broadcasting and multi-channel per carrier broadcast platforms. Furthermore, it offers teleport and network solutions, including both hub-based and single-channel per carrier options. Beyond its core satellite operations, APT Satellite provides data center services like rack space rental, server and equipment hosting, cloud management, IP gateway transit, and bespoke managed services. Over-The-Top (OTT) services are also part of its offerings. Operating APSTAR-5C, APSTAR-6C, APSTAR-7, and APSTAR-9 satellites, the company extends its footprint across Asia, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Pacific region. The company further holds property assets and delivers management and project consultancy services. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Tai Po, Hong Kong, APT Satellite Holdings Limited is a subsidiary of APT Satellite International Company Limited.
