Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
High Gross MarginSustained ~96% gross margin implies strong unit economics for eventual product sales or royalties. If clinical programs commercialize, high margins support scalable profitability and allow operating leverage to convert incremental revenue into lasting net income, reinforcing long-term earnings potential.
Clearer FDA Path For Tab-celRegulatory guidance that a single-arm study against an appropriate historical control may suffice materially reduces the evidentiary burden and time/cost to resubmit. With partner Pierre Fabre pursuing the dataset update, this structural clarity improves the probability and timeline of potential US approval for tab-cel.
Partnership-driven Funding ModelReliance on collaborations like the Pierre Fabre partnership provides non-dilutive funding, milestone payments and shared development/commercial resources. This strategic model preserves internal capital, leverages external expertise, and can accelerate program advancement without solely depending on internal cash generation.
Bears Say
Negative Shareholder EquitySustained negative equity indicates an impaired capital structure and accumulated losses, weakening solvency metrics. This condition limits borrowing capacity, increases the likelihood of dilutive financings, and constrains strategic flexibility to fund trials or commercial launches over the medium term.
Persistent Cash BurnConsistent multi-year negative operating and free cash flow (~-$25.9M TTM) creates ongoing dependence on external capital or partner funding. That persistent burn raises refinancing risk, may force prioritization of programs, and can dilute shareholders or slow development if funding windows narrow.
Nasdaq Non-compliance/delisting RiskA Nasdaq non-compliance notice is a structural liquidity and access risk: delisting would impair trading liquidity, reduce visibility to institutional investors, and raise cost of capital. That overhang can hamper fundraising, strategic partnerships, and long-term investor confidence if not resolved.
