Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Revenue RecoveryA 45.9% revenue rebound in 2025 indicates successful project commissioning or higher generation, restoring top-line momentum. Sustained revenue growth supports scale economics, improves bargaining with suppliers and counterparties, and underpins future cash flows for a capital-intensive renewable platform.
Operating Cash Flow StrengthConsistently positive and rising operating cash flow (~2.29B in 2025) demonstrates the core wind-asset business generates cash from operations. That durable OCF supports ongoing operations and project-level servicing, reducing sole reliance on external financing for near-term operating needs.
Asset-backed Renewable Business ModelAn asset-backed portfolio of wind farms provides tangible collateral and long-lived cash-producing assets. The company’s focus on wind power aligns with structural decarbonization trends and creates predictable generation profiles and regulatory support, which helps secure project financing and long-term contracts.
Bears Say
Margin CompressionA sharp decline in net margin to ~5.5% materially reduces earnings resilience and the firm's ability to absorb cost shocks. Lower margins weaken retained earnings generation, compress returns on invested capital, and reduce the buffer for volatility in commodity prices, curtailing long-term profitability.
Persistent Negative Free Cash FlowRecurrent negative free cash flow signals ongoing heavy reinvestment or capital expenditure needs that operating cash flow does not fully cover. This structural cash shortfall increases dependency on debt or equity raises, constrains returns to shareholders, and elevates execution risk for future project rollouts.
Elevated And Rising LeverageHigh and rising leverage (D/E ~2.23) heightens sensitivity to interest rates and refinancing cycles, raising financing costs and limiting strategic flexibility. Elevated debt increases vulnerability to earnings volatility and could force asset sales or dilutive capital raises if cash flows underperform expectations.
