Bulls Say, Bears Say
Bulls Say
Low LeverageA debt-to-equity ratio near 0.02 gives the company durable financial flexibility. Low leverage reduces refinancing and default risk for a project developer, allowing management to pursue permits, studies and sequencing without high fixed interest burdens that can derail long-lead resource projects.
Large Equity BufferA sizable equity base (~129.9m) provides a meaningful cushion to fund project development and absorb near-term losses. For a pre-production miner, this equity runway supports financing options, reduces immediate dilution pressure and underpins capacity to attract project financing or JV partners.
Early Commercialization MomentumRevenue rising from near zero to 624k signals initial commercial activity and de-risking of the asset beyond pure exploration. While small, this durable indicator shows movement toward production or offtake validation, which matters for long-term project economics if sustained and scaled.
Bears Say
Persistent Cash BurnConsistent negative operating (-13.5m) and free cash flow (-30.5m) undermine financial sustainability. Persistent cash burn forces reliance on external capital, risks dilution or delayed development, and creates execution risk for a resource project with multi-year capex and permitting timelines.
Negative Gross Profit And Large LossesNegative gross profit and an FY2025 net loss (~11.9m) show the core project economics are not yet viable. Structural profitability issues mean the firm must either improve margins, secure higher commodity pricing, or materially scale operations before it can self-fund construction or deliver investor returns.
Negative Returns On EquityROE of roughly -9% to -12% indicates capital is destroying value despite a large equity base. Over the medium term this is unsustainable: continued negative returns raise the prospect of equity erosion, higher funding costs, and investor reluctance unless project economics materially improve.
