Their flagship product candidate, AEOL 10150, has successfully navigated two Phase I clinical trials. This compound is being developed to combat the pulmonary complications associated with acute radiation syndrome, and also serves as a crucial protective agent against exposure to chemical vesicants and nerve agents. Further expanding its pipeline, Aeolus is also pursuing AEOL 11114B, AEOL 11203, and AEOL 11207 for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, alongside AEOL 20415, designed to address various infectious diseases. Established in 1994, Aeolus Pharmaceuticals is headquartered in Mission Viejo, California.
