Acusphere Inc
Acusphere, Inc. is a pharmaceutical firm specializing in the creation and market launch of cardiovascular treatments. Its flagship product is Imagify (perflubutane polymer microspheres), a cardiovascular medication designed to assess myocardial perfusion and aid in the diagnosis of coronary artery disease. This drug is administered as an injectable suspension. Initially established as Polymers For Medicine, Inc., the organization rebranded as Acusphere, Inc. in March 2004. Founded in 1993, the company maintains its headquarters in Watertown, Massachusetts.
