Bulls Say
Record Backlog & Multi-year Revenue VisibilityA SEK 318bn backlog provides durable revenue visibility across multi-year defense procurement cycles, de‑risking near‑term sales and supporting production planning. High backlog increases contracted throughput and underpins organic growth as deliveries convert to revenue over several years.
Scale-driven Revenue And Margin ImprovementSustained revenue expansion from SEK 39.2B (2021) to SEK 88.2B TTM with improving EBIT margins shows scalable operations and stronger pricing/efficiency. This persistent margin uplift indicates structural competitiveness and resilience to cost pressures over the medium term.
Improved Cash Position And Credit StandingMaterial liquid resources and an investment‑grade BBB+ rating provide financial flexibility to fund ramp‑ups, R&D and working capital. Improved H1 cash flow and large cash/liquid investments reduce short‑term refinancing risk and support multi‑year program execution and capex plans.
Bears Say
Uneven Cash ConversionFCF at ~43% of net income signals persistent working‑capital absorption and reinvestment needs. If conversion remains volatile, it constrains self‑funding for production scale‑ups and R&D, increasing reliance on debt or timing of customer advance payments to finance growth.
Rising Debt Since 2024An uptick in debt reduces covenant and liquidity headroom even if leverage is moderate today. Higher indebtedness combined with volatile cash conversion heightens refinancing and interest‑cost risk during program ramps or delayed customer payments.
Execution & Timing Risks On Large ContractsDelays in advance payments and contract booking shift revenue recognition and cash timing, creating quarter‑to‑quarter volatility. Combined with under‑absorption in T‑7 production, these execution/timing issues can pressure near‑term margins and working capital until scale benefits and payments materialize.
