Atalaya Mining plc
Atalaya Mining Plc, along with its subsidiaries, is actively involved in the exploration and development of mineral resources throughout Spain. Its primary asset is the fully-owned Proyecto Riotinto mine, an open-pit operation situated in the Andalusia region of Spain, primarily extracting copper. The mine produces copper concentrates, with silver also recovered as a co-product. The company, initially established in 2004, was formerly known as EMED Mining Public Limited before adopting its current name, Atalaya Mining Plc, in October 2015. Its corporate headquarters are located in Nicosia, Cyprus.
