Trump Unleashes Gaza War Peace Plan with Netanyahu on Board

“Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza,” read the plan.

Trump, Netanyahu Back Gaza Plan With New Governing Committee

Under the plan, a “board of peace” led by Trump will oversee a governing committee led by Palestinians and international experts until the Palestinian Authority successfully completes a reform program. Hamas will not be allowed to participate in Gaza’s governance and Israel will be blocked from occupying or annexing Gaza. In addition, Gaza will be designated as a special economic zone with preferred tariff rates.

“This is potentially one of the greatest days ever in civilization,” Trump said at a press conference after meeting with Netanyahu.

The plan also notes that the war would end immediately if Israel and Hamas accept the terms, with hostages to be returned within 72 hours. Netanyahu has already agreed to support the plan.
