These Stocks are the Biggest Pre-Market Movers on Tuesday

TipRanks has compiled a list of Tuesday’s biggest pre-market stock movements.

Today’s stock market is dominated by mixed market sentiment on company-specific news, macro factors, and other variables. Using TipRanks’ new Top Stock Gainers/Losers page, we’ve identified the top five pre-market stock movers, as detailed below.

5 Biggest Movers

Low-cost airline company Ryanair Holdings plc (RYAAY) was the biggest gainer in pre-market trading, as the stock jumped 7.39% at the time of writing. Though there is no business-specific news explaining the uptrend, it seems that though the travel industry is going through difficult times with increased airline costs, investors are optimistic about the long-term summer travel recovery.

Another gainer, India-based ReNew Energy Global plc (RNW), surged 8.2% in pre-market trading, at last watch. There is no fundamental news explaining the trading frenzy of India’s largest renewable energy company by operational capacity, beyond the ongoing rise in energy prices globally.

Netherlands-based Aegon N.V. (AEG) rose in pre-market trading, recording gains over 7% at the time of writing. Positive sentiment followed the revelation by the company that it has suspended future investments in Russia or Belarus-based companies. Consequently, the Dutch multinational life insurance, pensions, and asset management company has also updated its Responsible Investment Policy accordingly.

Meanwhile, Sibanye Stillwater Limited (SBSW), the multinational precious metals mining company, lost more than 7% in pre-market trading, at last check. The fall in price followed the notice issued by the biggest unions at the company’s gold mines. According to the notice, workers will go on strike from Wednesday onwards due to unresolved wage-related issues.

Canada-based Cameco Corporation (CCJ) completes the list. It moved upward around 4% in pre-market trading at the time of writing. Though there is no fundamental news explaining the uptrend, investors’ optimism on the world’s largest publicly traded uranium company seems to be driven by the increasingly bullish stance on the uranium market.
