Zoom is reducing the practice of paying workers with company stock, Brody Ford of Bloomberg reports. In a note to employees this week read by Bloomberg, CEO Eric Yaun said issuing equity in Zoom at its current rate is “not sustainable.” The company plans to phase out its “annual performance equity plan” over the next two years and instead some employees will receive higher cash bonuses.
