Xylem, Veralto in early stages of evaluating DuPont water unit, Bloomberg says

DuPont’s (DD) water treatment unit, which the company intends to spin out, is drawing separate acquisition interest from potential industry suitors, Bloomberg’s Kiel Porter and Ryan Gould report, citing people with knowledge of the matter. Xylem (XYL) and Veralto (VLTO) are among potential parties in the early stages of evaluating the DuPont Water Solutions arm, the authors say. Shares of DuPont are up 2% in afternoon trading.
