Morgan Stanley raised the firm’s price target on Xcel Energy to $68 from $62 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares. In July, utilities outperformed the S&P’s +1.22% return by 560 bps, the analyst tells investors. The company is a long-time leader of the transition to renewables, the firm adds.
