Xbox’s ‘Sea of Thieves’ most downloaded PS5 game in May in U.S., EU, Canada

Sony (SONY) said that the most downloaded game for PlayStation 5 on the PS Store for the month of May in the EU, U.S., and Canada was Microsoft’s (MSFT) “Sea of Thieves.” The Fly notes that “Sea of Thieves” was originally an Xbox console exclusive when it released in 2018, but was ported to PlayStation this past April. Other top-downloaded games on the PS Store for the PS5 in May in the EU, U.S., and Canada were Electronic Arts’ (EA) “Madden NFL 24” and “F1 24,” Take-Two’s “Grand Theft Auto V,” Take-Two’s (TTWO) “NBA 2K24” and “Grand Theft Auto V,” Activision’s “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III,” and Ubisoft’s (UBSFY) “Assassin’s Creed Mirage.”
