Senator Ron Wyden has asked the FTC to probe whether Neustar Security Services, an internet infrastructure company owned by TransUnion, violated the privacy rights of millions when it sold records of where they went online to the federal government, The Washington Post’s Joseph Menn reports. Wyden cited evidence from the prosecution of Democratic lawyer Michael Sussmann to suggest the company breached users’ privacy, Menn says. Reference Link
