Wolfe Research initiated coverage of Electronic Arts with a Peer Perform rating. The company offers a “leading blend” of predictability and category strength, but its near-term headwinds in investments to establish sustainable growth make the risk/reward “tougher to appreciate”, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Considering the expected growth in net bookings and revenue from EA Sports FC, US Football titles, and Battlefield reimagination in FY25, Wolfe is looking out to FY26 when such figures should stabilize on a year over year basis, the firm adds.
