NEW RELEASES: This week’s big new release is Electronic Arts’ (EA) action-adventure title "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor," a sequel to 2019’s "Jedi: Fallen Order." The game releases April 28 for PC, PlayStation 5 (SONY), and Xbox Series X/S (MSFT).

Discovery’s (WBD) "Hogwarts Legacy," Sony’s "MLB The Show 23," Activision Blizzard’s (ATVI) "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II," EA’s "Madden NFL 23," "Dead Space," and "FIFA 23," and Bandai Namco’s (NCBDY) "Elden Ring."

‘DEAD ISLAND 2’ LEADS IN U.K.: Sales of physical video games fell 6% week-on-week in the U.K., despite three new notable game releases, Gamesindustry.biz’s Christopher Dring reported yesterday, citing data from GfK. The best-selling new title was Embracer’s (THQQF) "Dead Island 2," which is the third biggest release of 2023, behind "Hogwarts Legacy" and "Resident Evil 4," the author noted. Coming in second place this past week is Microsoft’s "Minecraft Legends," whose physical edition sold best on Nintendo Switch (NTDOY), which accounted for 76% of the title’s sales. Coming in third was Nintendo’s "Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp," Dring said.
