A potential deal between Western Digital’s (WDC) semiconductor division and Kioxia, the former Toshiba Memory company, may be in jeopardy, as SK Hynix, which has an indirect stake in Kioxia, is “showing reluctance” regarding the negotiations, Nikkei Asia reports. SK has approached SoftBank (SFTBY) about collaborating in case integration negotiations fail, according to the report.
