Wells Fargo analyst Connor Siversky initiated coverage of Ventas (VTR) with an Overweight rating and $50 price target. The analyst believes Ventas offers investors an "attractive mix" of senior housing growth and relative value with risks related to portfolio restructurings already priced into shares. The company offers investors the strong growth potential of its senior housing portfolio at a more reasonable valuation compared to its closest peer, Welltower (WELL), contends Wells.
