Commenting on Amazon’s announcement that limited advertisements will be introduced to shows and movies on Prime Video in 2024, Wedbush says impact of a global rollout could be in the range of $6.6B to $8.0B of incremental revenue. The firm views the opportunity as a material operating margin driver in 2024-2025 as the company directly monetizes its content investments and offsets a greater share of streaming costs. Wedbush has an Outperform rating on the shares with a price target of $280.
