Wayfair employees who work remotely were more likely to be laid off during the latest round of job cuts, Sarah Nassauer and Paul Berger of The Wall Street Journal report, citing comments made to staff by executives. Wayfair executives had held a meeting to discuss the recent layoffs that cut 13% of its workforce. Employees were told the layoffs were aimed at speeding decision-making within teams. Further, co-founder and co-chairman Steve Conine said a sale of the company is not being considered.
