Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is shutting down game studios Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and WB San Diego in an effort to boost profitability for its Games business, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier reports, citing sources. The company is also canceling its “Wonder Woman” game, which was first announced in late 2021, the author notes, citing a memo to staff. Shares of Warner Bros. Discovery are down 2.8% in afternoon trading.
