Citi analyst Paul Lejuez raised the firm’s price target on Walmart to $180 from $174 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The analyst says the company’s Q2 results were strong across the board and its fiscal 2023 guidance was encouraging. The post-earnings share selloff does not reflect Walmart’s underlying fundamentals, rather positioning going into the quarter, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Citi expects the stock to “bounce back fairly quickly.”
