Verizon (VZ) has spoken with Disney (DIS) about possibly partnering on a new ESPN streaming service, The Information’s Sahil Patel reports, citing people familiar with the matter. Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg previously told executives at sports leagues and teams about his interest in the distribution of a streaming version of ESPN, one person says.
