Wells Fargo analyst David Lantz lowered the firm’s price target on Valvoline (VVV) to $42 from $44 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. There’s debate regarding FY26 guide, but considering constructive September meetings, intact building blocks and still healthy category drivers, the firm sees +4%-6% systemwide comparable sales as reasonable for initial FY26 guidance. Other needle movers on EPS day include unit growth, the shape of SG&A through the year, and additional Breeze color, Wells adds.
