Truist analyst C. Patrick Scholes lowered the firm’s price target on Vail Resorts (MTN) to $247 from $250 but keeps a Buy rating on the shares. After several quarterly earnings misses, the company’s total reported EBITDA came in ahead of estimates, and while Q1 is an off-season quarter, the earnings beat is a “much needed positive headline” for a stock that had very weak investor sentiment over the past year, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
