U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said the Trump Administration excluded pharmaceuticals and semiconductors from reciprocal tariffs because “we think they need their own investigations.” Greer is testifying before the Senate Finance Committee on the administration’s trade policy agenda. Publicly traded companies in the semiconductor space include AMD (AMD), Intel (INTC), Marvell (MRVL), Microchip (MCHP), Micron (MU), Nvidia (NVDA), Qualcomm (QCOM) and Texas Instruments (TXN). Publicly traded drugmakers include AstraZeneca (AZN), Bristol Myers (BMY), Eli Lilly (LLY), GSK (GSK), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), Merck (MRK), Novartis (NVS), Pfizer (PFE), Roche (RHHBY) and Sanofi (SNY).
