USTR backs panel ruling on Apple’s infringement of Masimo patent, Bloomberg says

The U.S. Trade Representative decided not to reverse the International Trade Commission’s October 26 decision that Apple (AAPL) infringed two patents owned by Masimo (MASI) and Cercacor Laboratories, according to Bloomberg’s Tuhin Kar, citing a statement from the USTR. Apple recently announced that the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 would no longer be available to purchase from Apple stores or its website due to the ITC ruling as part of a long-running patent dispute between Apple and Masimo around the Apple Watch’s blood oxygen sensor technology.
