Unity Software is laying off more than 200 employees, making it the latest technology company to implement staff cuts amid mounting recession fears, The Wall Street Journal’s Sarah E. Needleman reports. Unity said Tuesday that 284 jobs would be eliminated. Some of those losing their jobs may be rehired for other positions if they apply for openings, the company said.
