UBS is planning to hire dealmakers from investment banking boutiques as it looks to bolster its capabilities in mergers and acquisitions, M&A, Stephen Morris and Owen Walker of The Financial Times reports. In recent years, UBS has not hired as aggressively as its Wall Street rivals, but is prepared to lure in strong candidates with attractive packages, people with knowledge of the plans told the Times.
