At its Ubisoft Forward event, Ubisoft made a number of announcements pertaining to its upcoming video game slate. Highlights from the event include: a new story and gameplay trailer for “Star Wars: Outlaws,” out August 30, 2024; an update for its new free-to-play shooter “XDefiant”; the announcement a free new content update for “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown” that has a boss rush mode and additional puzzle and platform challenges, available today; the announcement of new story downloadable content for “The Lost Crown,” out September 2024; a new trailer for “The Rogue Prince of Persia” and its upcoming new content update; a teaser for the upcoming remake of “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time,” out in 2026; the reveal of new strategy game “Anno 117 Pax Romana,” out in 2025 on PC and consoles; and a deeper look at “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” out November 15, 2024.
