Ubisoft abandons ‘Immortals Fenyx Rising’ sequel, VGC reports

Ubisoft has dropped plans for a sequel to 2020 open-world game “Immortals Fenyx Rising,” VideoGamesChronicle’s Andy Robinson reports, citing multiple development sources. A follow-up title had been in early development at Ubisoft Quebec, but company leadership eventually opted to cancel it earlier this month due to perceived challenges around establishing the IP, the author notes.
