UAW looks to fight nonunion auto companies, WSJ reports

Before going after Tesla (TSLA), UAW leader Shawn Fain has to first persuade the hourly workers of the company that the fight is worth taking up, Tim Higgins of The Wall Street Journal reports. If Fain wants to convince nonunion auto shops to organize, the battle would be much different and the risks possible perceived as greater. At companies such as Tesla, Toyota (TM), Honda (HMC), Volkswagen (VWAGY), or Nissan (NSANY), Fain would be counting on workers to stick their necks out in tussles with the companies.
