The United Auto Workers union has formally initiated one of the biggest organizing drives in its history with campaigns at 13 car makers, the Wall Street Journal’s Nora Eckert reports. The union intends to target nearly 15,000 at U.S. factories owned by major foreign firms, including Toyota (TM) and Volkswagen (VWAGY), as well as newer EV manufacturers like Tesla (TSLA) and Rivian (RIVN), the author says.
