The UAW is calling on additional 7,000 employees at Ford (F) and General Motors (GM) to go on strike, the union’s president, Shawn Fain, announced in a webcast. Stellantis (STLA) has made “significant progress” in talks with the UAW and no added strikes are being called now at Stellantis, Fain added.
