U.S. Supreme Court declines to hear SAP appeal of antitrust ruling, Reuters says

The U.S. Supreme Court will not hear a bid by SAP (SAP) to avoid litigation brought by Teradata (TDC) accusing the European company of violating U.S. antitrust rules, Reuters’ Mike Scarcella reports. The nation’s highest court turned away the appeal of a lower court’s ruling that allowed Teradata to pursue allegations that its larger German rival violated antitrust law by tying sales of business-planning applications to the purchase of a key SAP database, the author says, noting that Teradata makes a competing database.
