Many travelers from the United States lost cell service due to a cellular data outage that affected users of AT&T (T), T-Mobile (TMUS), and Verizon (VZ), Derek Norman of The New York Times reports. Most of the travelers were in Europe and some reported losing cell services for as long as 24 hours. It is unclear what caused the outage.
