Some Matteson, Illinois residents were initially asked to evacuate the area following a Canadian National train derailment, but that order was lifted at 1:30 p.m, Evelyn Holmes of ABC news reports. “There is no immediate danger to the public, but we encourage everyone to remain clear of the area to allow crews to safely and efficiently conduct the clean-up process,” officials said.
