Macquarie analyst Tim Nollen notes that The Trade Desk’s CEO Jeff Green spoke at Exchangewire’s ATS conference in London this week, refuting trade press coverage last week of plans to develop its own TV operating system, stating “They’re wrong,” which the firm contends “sounds convincing enough.” Green pointed to his company’s recent tie-up with Roku (ROKU), including accessing its ACR data, as an example of the collaborations he seeks, rather than competition, according to Macquarie, which has an Outperform rating on Trade Desk shares.
