Toyota Motor group member Hino Motors plans to start selling an electric version of its heavy-duty commercial trucks in the U.S. next year, Nikkei Asia’s Miho Tankai reports. Hino is planning for 10,000 sales of the EV truck in the U.S. by 2030, according to the report, which adds that the truck is based on Hino’s XL 4×2 tractor chassis sold in North America.
