Toyota extends production suspension amid typhoon in Japan, Nikkei reports

Toyota is extending the suspension of production at all factories in Japan until Friday as a typhoon made landfall in the south and resulted in flooding, damage and dozens of injuries, Nikkei Asia’s Sayumi Take, Alice French and Yuichi Shiga report, citing the automaker. The pause of 28 production lines at 14 plants includes operations at Toyota’s group companies, like parts manufacturer Aisin.
