Toyota’s global production has achieved an all-time annual high with one month remaining in 2023, supporting the company’s often criticized strategy of not emphasizing the sale of pure electric vehicles, the Financial Times’ Kana Inagaki reports, citing production numbers. From January to November, worldwide production jumped 11% from a year earlier to 9.23M vehicles, amid strong demand in Toyota’s core markets, including the U.S. and Europe.
