JPMorgan analyst Christyan Malek raised the firm’s price target on TotalEnergies to EUR 68 from EUR 66 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. The analsyt also added to the shares to the firm’s Analyst Focus List. The positive energy macro backdrop and capital discipline will drive "stellar" returns in 2023 for European oil and gas names, Malek tells investors in a research note. The analyst calls TotalEnergies a top pick given its "superior portfolio balance" and "best in class on Joules scorecard."
