Tinder plans to roll out its new ID checks in the U.S., the U.K., Brazil, and Mexico over the next few weeks and months, after tests in Australia and New Zealand, to combat AI scams and dating crimes, Bloomberg’s Antonia Mufarech reports. The process requires a valid driver’s license or passport and a self-recorded video, according to the report. Tinder is a unit of Match Group.
