Textron (TXT) is near a deal to purchase “the fuselage-making program for its V-280 military aircraft from Spirit AeroSystems (SPR ) reports Reuters. Earlier in July, Boeing (BA) said “it would buy the world’s largest standalone aerostructures company in a $4.7B” stock deal, added the Reuters story by Allison Lampert.
