Tesla’s (TSLA) upcoming AI chip, the AI5, will be made by Samsung (SSNLF) in Texas as well as by TSMC (TSM) in Arizona, CNBC’s Kif Leswing reported, citing comments made by CEO Elon Musk on the company’s earnings call. The CEO said the company is aiming for “excess production” and any chips not used in cars or robots can be used in data centers.
